What promises to be a good story peters out as just the beginning of a saga

It has a lot of promise -- up to the ending, it felt a lot like Gibson's "Mona Lisa Overdrive". But it seemed to lose traction in the bar. If you can ramp it back up, you have a great story underway.

I realy enjoyed the story but the constant use of uncommon jargon and acronims(sp) was distracting from the scenes.
