Just lust? Could happen. But there has to be some reason why they no longer care about their spouses. You haven’t built up any reason as to why they are risking everything in their lives that was once important and loving to both of them, for these few moments. Please add that in the next chapter.

The identity of the narrator wasn't revealed until the third paragraph, and it wasn't who I thought it was. As another commented, it would be better if we knew why these two lovers decided to cheat on their respective spouses. It has to be more than just lust to make the story work. And the risks! Adam must not have noticed the cold bed when he awoke, nor heard the skin-slapping sex just a few feet away behind the shower curtain. The cum stains on the couch are very problematic. And the scent of recent sex in the living room? Hmmmm. Still, a fun read.
