I love this story and the characters..just keeps getting better with every chapter. Has become my favorite story. I can't wait for the next chapter. Ten stars.
desparately waiting for the next sexcapade of big dick diplomacy..
I was really hoping that when they got airpower, it would be a upon dragon back.
The admiral is a pretty disgusting Ass, and his selling out his country by allowing someone else to take the fall is not a good look. I realize he is trying to salvage his navy, but at the expense of several hundred boatloads of fellow soldiers is disgusting. That said, the Emperor and his son are ass's hat as well. Time for all time for all three of them to be ended. I hope that is the direction this (otherwise) amazing story is headed. 5 stars
Engrossed as I am in this story, I am appalled by the leaders in Java and Picardy.
A revolution is needed.
Ok the story has sucked me in and is interesting but the historical anachronisms are killing me.... naval ships with 16â guns (our ww2) without flight and mention of days to traverse 30 miles on sea, combined with modern era assault style weapons butcannonballs that can seriously damage those naval vessels. Naval artillery with such limited range that it canât shoot further than cannons, radio communication that can transmit for miles but vessels can only find each other by sight on the ocean (as opposed to radar or sonar). Submarines mentioned but it also takes hundreds of assault ships for 30,000 troops which is considered a massive force.... good storytelling but it requires a huge suspension of common sense to make it through.
5 Stars, again. Like Hiding in Portland, I thought that Jack would hook up with some type of Na'vi and learn to ride the dragons, according to the prophecy!!!
And I had thought he would take to the air after going to the isle of dragons.. đ
