Roger sprung up from the couch. "What is the meaning of this?" he demanded.
The two men looked at him and chuckled. One moved forward, and it soon became apparent he was holding a club in his hand. He whipped it forward and smashed Roger across the face, knocking him out cold.
Jocelyn found herself screaming but it was all she could do. In the next moment, a much smaller man soon appeared at the door.
"What do you want from us?" she screamed.
The man sneered at her. "Jocelyn Hutton, you and your family are to be apprehended at the orders of Emperor Percival Bancroft. You're coming with us."
Jocelyn couldn't stop screaming.

radlas1984over 2 years agoDepending on how this next chapter goes I may be going back through all previous chapters and changing my 5 stars to 1 stars and loudly and frequently recommending that no one read this series.
Real life is shitty and painful enough. I don't need this bullshit in my escapist hobby.

"They fell upon the newly-created Allied defensive lines with a ferocity that couldn't be 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿stated.",
the word you are looking for is 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿stated rather than 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿stated.
