I think you've mixed up between Arnold and Brian. It was Brian who was the good runner, which was the reason he sacrificed himself during the war game. But now it seems like Arnold is the one comfortable with running along with his swabian comrades. This was supposed to be the other way around.

Yet another excellent chapter in this exceptional story. 8* if it were possible. Keep it going. Can't wait for the next chapter.
