OMG I'm loving the parents! Laughed so hard I started crying.

"Oh my god! Oh my god!" is right, this chapter was absolutely hilarious. This hit home to me on so many levels. I can't tell you. Been there, done that with getting the new mattress home. It always seems nobody can deliver for at least a week on things you need right now. You're also hit the nail on the head about the arguments, they usually are more about annoyances than anything else. I can't remember what any argument was about, but I'm sure I was always right. Then there was the makeup sex afterword, that always made the hurt feelings all better. And please don't get me started on boxed mac and cheese, that's the real reason I began doing all the grocery shopping. You've also shown in this chapter, again what great parents Jess has, and now, where his sense of humor comes from. Just one final thought, then I'll stop babbling on. I'm sitting here with my morning coffee, feeling good because I just finished this chapter. That feeling isn't coming because this story is so well written (it is). It's not coming from the great sex scenes (they are). It comes from (at least for me) John and Jess, two characters that you have made to come alive and make us care about. It's a lot more like visiting friends than reading a story. So, thank you and as always, I'll be here waiting when the next part comes out. MLF

LOL My only question is why you chose to shop at Giant when Shoppers was closer (if you were in the apartment complex I assumed based on your description)? JC4SC87: I don't think that was close to campus. At least not close enough. For Giant, there was the school van that took us over. And for smaller stuff, we went around the corner to Eddie's Market. But maybe you're right? It's entirely possible I did it wrong! ;-)
