I definitely want to read more about these two. It's a good story and nicely paced; great to get romance and a sense of real people, before the sex.

This is terrible nitpick but there is no way a flight from Tokyo to New York would ever divert to Paris. The flight path for a flight from either of Tokyo's international airports to New York is flying north-east which at a certain point becomes flying south-east. Then flying over eastern Canada, if there was a storm on the eastern seaboard the diversion would most likely be to another major city within New York state (maybe Buffalo they might have time to go to Niagara, that would compare to the romance of Paris wouldn't it?) or a city in Canada.
