It's written well, just too over the top to continue. There's not a fraction of a chance a guy like that would go along with such bullshit. I really tried, but it's not close to having a believable storyline. It would be believable that when Valeria pushed the teasing, he ended up seeing her in the hospital, for her injuries resulting from a mysterious mugging, like a good boyfriend should. No more bets, no more blackmail, no more laundry.

She needs knocked down a peg or two and in the real world he would just transfer to another school. Well actually he would have just told her to fuck off at the start.
