Except for the board room meeting the story flowed really well, that was a bolt out of the blue and unnecessary to the story esp since he had divorced one cheater and has a great deal of anger still about that, it is supposed to make his working relationships good?

A great start to the story, as always it is well written and engaging. It seems that some did not understand that the board room meeting was for single people only so no cheating was taking place and he could be comfortable with this scenario. I am looking forward to its development, the storyline has several streams to it and I am looking forward to see how they fit together. For me a definite 5* start.

I agree with the other commenters that I really enjoyed the story up until the executive breakroom scene at the end.

Also, I really liked the fact that Marcum is sticking to his guns about cutting ties to his family. In several of your other stories, I found it strained my suspension of disbelief that the character would forgive and/or fall into bed with someone who had treated him that badly.

Yes, really liked the tale, until it jumped off the rails with the executive orgy arrangement. Doesn't fit the rest of the story at all. Got whiplash.

For those asking “where’s pt. 2?”, if you look at Soul71’s catalog, you’ll notice that he or she has a pattern for posting. There will be several posts, normally for different works, within about a one to two month window that will be followed by little to nothing for five to ten months, and then the pattern repeats. Can it be frustrating when a story really hooks the reader? Yeah, it is, but let’s give the authors their due: if you are reading on this site, you aren’t paying for the content, they have rarely if ever made promises to deliver, and most are like Soul71 here and when a story is multi-chaptered, even Part 1 is labeled that way.

Started in a "Loving Wives" category, but is heading towards either "Romance" or "Group sex". Sadly the focus is moving from consequences of betrayal. I was hoping to see how mc's decision affected the family during gatherings. Surely it caused some rift in the family dynamic.

Ok, maybe a little to much hate, but a good start. The ending was weird.

Hopefully the author doesn’t get the mc to forgive his family like in the other 90% of his stories, I feel like a good they made their bed story and they can lay in it., I feel like this story should stick to a new Oman era angle with Beth not a group sex story

I loved the plot and the characters until the end, I think you got feed up writing this and just quickly put the first thing in your head down on paper, it spoiled it for me, the board doing sex games, just spoiled it.

Felt like you were starting a different story the last bit with the board orgy? Seemed to have nothing to do with the story. It's been a year, are you going to publish chapter 2 anytime soon?

It kind of went off the rails at the end, but I hope you continue with the original story line.

This is a nice new setting for a family betrayal story, which I enjoy. Though, there isn't much room to advance the plot right now. The immediate family is selfish (covered for cheating because they feared confrontation), stupid (picked the wrong side), stubborn (won't apologise or make amends), and arrogant (demands Marcum to change for their convenience). That leaves the main plot basically deadlocked on page 1, the exfamily needs a huge shock to change, or the story will be "did you forgive us yet?" "no" ** infinity.

The executive orgy is almost a completely separate story. It's good to drive Marcum to change, he was really incubating his sorrows for a long time. Maybe it will link back to the family, such as the sister becomes an office orgy assistant, to reignite the original conflict. Or, maybe he could meet a nice lady and adopt her family. Then the families can clash, old family tugs his last heartstring, but new family sets him straight.

How is the exwife doing, a year without siphoning Marcum's bank account? She must reaaaaally love the deadbeat brother to give up the spice flow.

I loved the story. Kept me interested the entire read. When is next chapter coming out?

I'm with the previous poster right below me; the executive orgy thing was totally out of place in this story. Plus, it's been several months since this story was published without a part 2 being added to where you could tie in this late plot line to the rest of the story. I had to knock down 2 stars for the late addition to this part of the story, which was a solid 5 star until the executive orgy stuff came along. And reading in your bio, I didn't see any immediate plan to publish a part 2 yet either. Keep up the good work though, as you are one of the more interesting authors on Lit.

So, second time reading this one. And after reading some of the comments I have to agree with the people below me. The office orgy feels like it's a whole separate story line that you added in. The story so far doesn't need it. I know you've got a lot on your plate (going by your in-the-pipeline list bio here and the list you posted on Patreon the other day). Now for this story, I kind of expect Marcum to hook up with his friend's cousin. A mutual healing 'loving wives' kind of thing. The ex-family plot feels like you've dead-ended yourself there. Good luck (non sarcastic) to digging yourself out of that hole 😉

Great story, interesting characters smooth writing interesting dialog other than his family siding with the whore and junkie, most of the characters could be people I have met. i keep waiting for some burning to happen, he has been a bit lacking in proactivity thus far really hope to see more of this story

Marcum became a cuckold by his Ex-Wife and his Brother,and even his whole family,then he left for a year,only to return to become an Exec,and to end up becoming an Office Swinger with the other Execs to have wild sex meetings and orgies.

I guess Marcum fell so far that he didn't even know his own self.Sure what his Ex-Wife did was heinous and cruel,but what Marcum became was an Office Gigolo and life of debauchery and hedonism.So you gotta ask which one was more pathetic,right now I think its basically a toss up.
