I would suggest they escape into the "real world", gives more writing options. It would be nice to see them encounter normal women and converting them, starting a commune or something were they impregnate lots of chicks.

...that when you leave so long between chapters readers get bored waiting and when it eventually does appear people have forgotten about it or simply can't be bothered to look for another chapter.

In the end it's the authors who suffer the most. Readers just get fed up.
