Delightful Read

Very interesting story line. each helping the other hold the rocks of their life together, then building their own wall using the rocks from each others wall. I'm just going to believe the premise of your law & research, as I have no way (or desire) to follow the complexities of international law. A very interesting read, well spaced, and a rarity these days a story with a beginning, middle and an ending. Best wishes. Tom

Awesome!!!!

The chapters, individually and collectively, have been a delight to read. In some places, the details were rather convoluted (but then, that would be the reality with century-old handwritten documents, verbal contracts, and unclear motivations). Exellent work!

A Love Story and a History Lesson

This story has held my interest from the start. It is a well written fascinating story. Some readers may bemoan the lack of erotic passages. Be that as it may; there is just the amount of sexual content to make the love story seem true to life. The explanations of the ramifications and confusions concerning land titles dating from the early Texas/Mexico history makes very interesting reading. All in all one of the best to found on Literotica.

Unique

Unlike other stories, this one does not give up to harsh obstacles of life to depict a fairy tale of a love story. Both main characters had their share of troubles-- troubles which helped their love for each other grow stronger as the story progressed. A bitter start and a blissful ending, with a touch of history all the way, made this story a pleasant read.

Ms. Widder outdone herself

A great story with a lot of background and history involved into this story. It amazes me how much trouble land owners that are at our border especially the one's that border Mexico have to go through to prove they own the land. Enlightening say the least. Thanks for the good story...Rich

Thank you for this story.

Thank you for this story. All I can add to the previous comments is to tell you that I have enjoyed reading tremendously. I had a few quibbles along the way, but the quality of the story and your telling of it reduced them to insignificance.

and in closing

Bravo..

and once again do not apoligize for wasting a reader's time. I can only speak form my own personal experience. you wrote a great tale of old, modern and new life involving the landgrants and their twisted and complicated history.

That combined with a rather neat love story, I will venture to say this should be held up with the best.

so says I

Just Beautiful

I can hardly tell you how much I enjoyed this story. The plot line and the love (though hard to believe) you have a knack for making it real and I more than willingly immersed myself in both. Even the bumps along the way, such as guns existing in the adobe house, which had been broken into several times, seemed to just enhance my enjoyment. Keep going; I can't wait till I have to pay for your books. This would make a great movie; have you thought of that?

A pleasure to read; a pleasure to re-read.

That's it, really. A five-star tale.

A pleasure

This story is as gripping on my second reading as it was on my first time through. I hope your muse is still pushing you to create. Thanks for sharing with me/us.

took a while...

Took me a while to read all 15 chapters, but admittedly...it was captivating. Thank you for the informative entertainment. It was well written and nicely paced. I think the "kissey" part was a little thick and initially begged us to accept gail's transformation to quickly, but given the genre I can understand. Again, thank you
