All Comments on 'Geist Ch. 04'

There is a lot to think about here. Life's choices can embrace or harm a loved one. Saying sorry after a fatal injustice can seem so inadequate. To love the one who has harmed you, to hate the love that did not choose you, to find yourself in the middle of this turmoil. Wow! You are an excellent writer because you create such dynamic situations that the reader is forced to ponder scenarios that are unimaginable. We become emotional because the unthinkable has transpired and OMG, why did that happen and what is going to happen next. Lol. I am happy that Avery is no longer sad. He seems to have lost a hell of a lot for initially loving the wrong person. In the end as a reader I don't care about Thomas because he just seemed so self-centered that I couldn't be bothered to care. Michael is an odd bird, he went from killer, to inquisitive room-mate, to lover and peace maker. He forced his will and he was the catalyst for change, good and bad. Gweall, you are gifted and I appreciate your work.

This was such a sad but amazing story truly heart felt it made me cry but is still a beautiful story

An amazing story, told exceptionally well. I know it had a kinda happy ending but it still left me feeling melancholy. Well done on writing a sad and beautiful tale.

As much as part of me might have hoped for some kind of come-back-from-the-dead, hopelessly unrealistic ending, the one you gave us was just perfect.

for 2 reasons:

1) not calling 911 to get medical help for Avery

2) leaving his body to rot in the bathtub.

Yes, he wanted to protect Michael, but for all the time he spent with Avery, not giving him a decent burial is indecent and too rude. Thomas could always have created a story that they came home and found Avery stabbed, and say that someone must have come in to rob the place, but Avery surprised the thief. The thief then stabbed Avery, and ran away.

Thomas never truly loved avery if he would have he would have started a family with him-Avery wanted to adopt a child

it was like Thomas never really loved Avery

Thomas never listed to him when he told about Michael

and he never cared about to adopt achild so that Aveey could feel like having his own family

Thomas have a son and later grandson

As it came towards the end the story got even more touching. It's an amazing story.

I cried like a baby the first time I read this and I cried again this time around I love your stories so much

This story really touched me. I already read it twice. Avery's story is really sad. He did not deserve any of that. he gave his all with Thomas and was so cruelly betrayed by him. I am happy that Michael shows so much senitivity, compassion and humanity towards him as a ghost and that they come to love each other in the end.

What a great story! Even without much sex.
