actually, according to law, this is incest. it doesn't have to be blood related. it's taboo.

The girl's mom is still married to Nathan, so he's fucking his current wife's daughter, which is incest.

While there may be a few places in the world where father/stepdaughter sex may be legal, in the vast majority of US States, and most other countries, it is illegal. The story, as written, is incest and illegal, as it's always incest if done while he's married to the mom, even if it's just a marriage of convenience.

In every single state of the union, this does not in any way constitute incest. These are two consenting adult if no blood relation. They can have sex and even marry. While it can still be awkward, it is Not incest.
