[SFX: Not a lot because it is a library lol]
[You mosey inside, clutching your favorite book to your chest as you try and work up the nerve to approach the author of said book who just so happens to be there for a signing]
[He smiles as you approach]
Good evening. If you want a signed book, great. If you want a library card, I’m afraid the staff has refused to let me be an honorary librarian for the night, hmhm.”
[Pause]
Haha, no. I’ve had some people show up but not a whole lot. Typical book signing or meet-and-greet to be honest.
[Pause]
[He chuckles as you hand him your copy of his latest book and signs it]
There we go. One signed book.
[Pause]
Oh, it’s no trouble. And don’t feel bad for me sitting here. I’ve actually been getting a lot of work done on my next venture.
