Pulling out of town in the early morning darkness of August 16th for a three-hour drive to the airport, I glanced over at the run-down dilapidated pie shack with sadness. I had wanted it to be ready for harvest, maybe next year. I had more important things on my mind at the moment.

Not quite as captivating as part one, but still interesting while moving the reader towards what will hopefully be bigger things.

When I see a new story, or chapter, by R410A, I know that a pleasant read awaits me. I don't suspect. I KNOW.

Another great episode from my favorite Refrigeration Guy! On my last ship we had a Chief Sonarman who used the exact same saying as your Gunnery Sergeant, "Those who fail to plan plan to fail"! Must be a Navy thing!

Stay safe, stay healthy, stay happy and please keep writing!

Cheers

Aaaah crap - always this waiting for the sequel!

As much as I understand that others want to read the next chapter as soon as it's finished, I prefer to read the story "in one piece" - but that's my personal problem !

As for the story, I can't say conclusively how I like it yet. The plot is good, the characters well developed and described with a lot of potential for further developments, but sometimes the descriptions seem a bit "militarily" short to me, sometimes a bit abrupt, jumpy - but maybe that's just my personal impression. I'll form my opinion at the end - and I'm really looking forward to it!

So far 5/5 stars.
