It's not as good as the shack stories but it's still a very good story by a great writer.

Not what I was expecting... at all. Things sure went to hell in a hurry, but there were still some lighter moments, like: "We'll check Amazon, they have everything". That one got me laughing, because it's just too true. Although it's not an Alfred Hitchcock psycho, it comes close. Thanks
Even with the cryptic warning about friday night movies, I totally didnt see this coming. Totally loved it. Read this just after finishing St Clair, and Ive got to say, you have one hell of a way of writing terrifying characters. I thought Monster and Spooky in the Shack were bad, but in comparision to this and St Clair, they almost seem like teddy bears.
This was a good second read. However, I noticed that you and the Missus havenβt posted anything for quite a while. (comment posted Aug21st 2023) I sure hope all is well at your end.
Take care and be safe.

This one scared me a little. You see, my wife it into crime stories. Really, in to crime stories. She can tell me how done it, how it was done, when it was done; everything by the half time ad time interruption. And that sets her off big time, damn how she hates advertisements. Now I half two wonder what she is thinking while watching all that on screen mayhem. Not what I expected but a damn good story that kept me reading until the end.
Holy moly double dog damn ya didn't give us anything we were expecting, but wow continue to love your stuff. I may just work my way though your entire oeuvre, not one I haven't enjoyed. thax
If you ever get that identification chart sorted please send me a copy. Thanks for your stories.
The mark of a talented writer is when their readers can visualize the scene in their heads as they read the words. You do a masterful job of painting a 3-D tale for us to experience.
