As an avid reader of incest stories, I have to say this is one of the best I have ever read. The depth and breadth of the main characters was fantastic. They were truly believable. With the exception of the minor children adoption, the quality of the relationship between mother and son is exactly how I would expect a real-life incestuous love relationship to be. The desire for each partner to want to satisfy the needs, desires and wants of the other without reservation nor concern for their own self needs was truly beautiful. I hope you keep writing. You have a rare talent and hope you develop/use it to the maximum advantage. 5-star series without question.

I'm a big fan of the mother/son genre. I especially like when both fall in love with each other. And like a lot of the readers here it is disappointing that the mother couldn't conceive. Halle Berry had a child at 45 years old.

The mother was 40 years old and if she was in good health, and with some luck, she could have given her son at least 3 beautiful babies.

A great couple of chapters, DV is not something people like to discuss but it is there and to make people aware is the right step in trying to get it out of society.

Between the first part and the second part, this story reminds me of a female version of 'Pygmalion'. How a battered and bitter woman creates an idealized version of her perfect man.

Beyond that transformation is being able to acquire children with the likelihood of a similar DNA blood-type. Quite an 'all in the family's miracle, eh?

Not gonna lie, I had this whole rant prepared about how a threesome was just pissing all over the story. Thankfully they saw sense and declined that nonsense. As it should be with this particular type of story (incest romance).

I was going to say that Mark didn't put up much resistance against the whole idea at first, despite all his professing about being a one-woman guy and such. I guess perhaps he was just surprised and thought his mother wanted it more than him and he just wanted to please her. Still, it would have made more sense to me if he had simply been more adamant against it from the start. At least he saw sense later and they both agreed it wasn't for them.

As for Robert at the end, well there's no excuse for his behaviour over the years, which was nothing short of tyrannical. He doesn't deserve forgiveness, but at least he did something good in the end. Of course, he only did this because he was dying; otherwise he'd be perfectly content going on with his life as before. Still, I'm sure his daughters will be thankful in any case later in life. They end up in a wonderful home with a father and a mother who love them dearly. A beautiful ending to a beautiful story.
