One of my favorites stories now on this site

Lovely sweet story, Lynn. One of those cases where I feel a little sad that Lit is considered a 'Porn' website, as (in my case) that makes it difficult to recommend such great stories to friends and family.

Great story. I guess you used artistic license with the answering machine. The story took place in 1964? Answering machines were pretty rare then. They didn't become widely available until the 1980's.
