ok

this is just too long for me, I read this 1st page but that was it, I might read it again and try reading the whole thing, but I lose interest after the 2nd or 3rd page and just skip to the end, but we will see

I read the whole thing now not a bad story line, it was not what I had expected it was a lot better, can't wait to read the next one, I hope it is not as long

I know exactly what you mean about lo-oo -ong stories. I often feel the same when I reach the end of page 1 and see there are still 3/4/5 still to go. "Pt. 01" was my first submission and I wasn't sure how Word pages would translate to Literotica pages. I perhaps overdid it! Thank you for sticking with me and going back for more. There is a lot to come from Heather Hunter. I'll submit it in smaller, bite-sized pieces.

It's not too long

A story is only "too long" if it doesn't hold your interest. This story kept mine throughout. At first, I thought it was skimping a bit on the sex scenes, but, as I continued to read, I came to see it as more of a slow, smoldering heat, than a fast-burning bonfire. All the better to keep things hot for a longer burn.

I read your bio page description of how Heather evolved and she certainly is a unique character, unlike any I've read about in all my years reading here on Lit.

I look forward to reading of her further adventures. It doesn't matter how long the installments are. Don't arbitrarily try to shorten it, just to please the few who don't care for long, slow-building stories. There are plenty other of those stories on Lit for people that want them. Write until your own mind tells you each segment is complete. Take as much time and as many words as you need to complete your vision of how it should go.

The one thing I don't understand is why Hev didn't leave immediately after finding out what type of guy Carrie tried to saddle her with. Hev doesn't seem to be someone who would suffer fools lightly. It certainly doesn't seem that she should have done it out of any sense of obligation to Carrie, since Carrie is so obviously not looking out for Hev's best interest, nor are they even close friends.

I hope to see Carrie get rolled up with Ross in the drug investigation. It would serve her right for being such a clueless bitch.

Thank you for all your kind comments. Several further instalments have already been written (I'm doing my final edit/proof read on Pt. 02 today). These are mostly two chapters at a time and should run to 3/4 pages . . . unless I add in a little more sex here and there! Hopefully 3/4 - occasionally 5 - pages will be long but not "too long".

Thing with Hev: she's stubborn. When she says she'll do something, it gets done. She said she'd date Ross so, at first at least, she's determined to see it through.

As for Carrie . . . worry not. Without giving to much away, although it takes a while, she more than gets her comeuppance.

Interesting story. I'm intrigued as to how the first part of 'Heather's Busy Week' lasted 2 years (2000-2002). I'll read on and and see how long the whole week lasts.

I also like the reference to Headingley and Yorkshire Cricket Club. I can remember the great names of the past: Geoffrey Boycott, Brian Close, Ray Illingworth and Fred Truman. Sadly only Geoffrey Boycott still alive today.

And sadly Yorkshire cricket club not going through good times at the moment. Let's hope these matters can be addressed and resolved satisfactorily.

Let's hope Gill was able to bring back some spin into the game.
