Maybe it's because the focus is getting ready for the trip, but they're totally ignoring they have a long term relationship and the wife is talking about getting laid by other guys and the husband taking on being a woman.. I just don't see such a drastic switch like this being realistic.

I just had to read this chapter again before getting to ch. 2. One excerpt which really hit home with me is:

The wife is planning to fuck the guys on the weekend The entire time. He should realize it wasn’t a marriage worth saving. If he is into l with his female side.
