There is a basically simple for determining cup sizes

An A cup is 1-2" over chest size, B cup=3-4" over chest, C cup=5-6" over chest, a D cup is 7-8" over chest measurement and so on. A 36HH woman would be about 54" around total!

Rem, I don’t know where you get your numbers but they are completely wrong. A D cup is 4 inches difference.

Rem556 I don't now what country you are from but cup sizes in the UK and USA are almost always 1 inch per cup size.

2"=B

3"=C

etc...

A 36 band with a 45 inch overbust would be 9". That's a 36 HH or 36 I.

A person with a 6 inch difference in under/over bust measurement should be in or around an F cup, your system would be a C cup.

Perhaps you are confusing the system with one like Japan or the EU where they use 2 centimetres per cup.

A Japanese P cup is equivalent to a US Q cup, UK KK cup, an AU S cup, or an EU T cup.
