CarolinaDreamer, grow up.
Thank you for almost bringing tears to this ex Army sergeant . Growing up I had a bad accident and could not have kids . But I married a Lady that had 2 kids and then we adopted her sisters daughter . All of the kids call Me Dad and that still brings tears to My eyes . 1 of my daughters is a nurse the other a Lawyer and My son is in the Army and I pray for them every day . My nurse daughter had My first Granddaughter named after My wife . My Son in the service has a boy and a Girl . The boy named after Me and the girl after My Mother . The lawyer daughter had Twins . The other 2 of my kids say she is a show off .. Are we happy Hell Yes , are we perfect Hell No
A lovely story. Hats off to parents with the love and patience to help these injured children heal and flourish. I imagine that bringing Rose out of her shell was also therapeutic for little Ethan as well. Thank you for posting this uplifting story.
A wonderful story. My wife and I adopted two children many years ago (no special needs) and they are now grown and married. We have two grandchildren as a result. This story hit home for me. Thanks.
