This is an interesting story, and I read in salahuddin collections. The story will be more interesting if you can rewrite from wife's perspective cuz it'll narrate the readers what was going thru her mind, why she gave in at last. It's my suggestions, if you have time you can rewrite or you can mix both husband and wife's perspective something like that.
