I’m not sure about the comments related to his relationship with Andi. I see it as active vs. passive hiding. Andi actively hid Jimmy’s presence on the first date rather than not mentioning him. Andi passively hid Jim’s fathering of Jimmy. Andi actively hid the nature of her and Jim’s FWB relationship.

The passive hiding is not as big a deal. It’s uncomfortable to talk about everything with someone you just met. The active hiding part is the issue. The active hiding is a purposeful deception. “Nothing is going on” =\= “he is my son’s father and we occasionally have sex.” She just wasn’t trustworthy at this time. She went on to marry Jim and have a second child so it’s not exactly unfounded speculation that the relationship would be complicated.

I thought that the story was pretty well written, but the characters were a bit flat. I do wonder if Derek ever considered the possibility of *not* dating a single mother. It seems as though every other woman but his ex wife had a child.

Unfortunately he was a complete nob head, and that's from his exclusive pov. I'm sure that if this was from a third person view he would have come across as even worse as we'd have learnt of all his bad habits, secrets and half truths.

Yup, Carol was the star of this show. Hilarious!

Despite many comment to the contrary, I see the MC as a man who has an amazing capacity to love, but needs to read and understand the motives of other people. The series chronicles his painful earning experiences and the reader keeps pulling for him to find a truly unselfish woman capable of sharing his unselfish giving nature.

I find the author to be pretty wise as to the ways of the world. I think reading the story would benefit most people. For sure, it is more than just another story.

So while he was looking for his Princess Charming he had to kiss a few toads first. His standards were higher than those of his first women but finally paid off with Erin. Good for him.

The minute he had a threesome with his first wife I lost all respect for him... he deserved all the pain and suffering he got... I just hope he has learned his lessons and sticks it out with this last wife.

Really good

The only problem is he is perfect (except for trust issues), rich, handsome, and one of the good guys, and all the women are gorgeous, except Myra who is only really, really good-looking.

Honestly, his problem seemed to be that he would only date gorgeous women, and he got an unlucky streak.

THAT overshadows some really human experience and development and growth, pretty well-written as well.

Lots of crazies out there and he kept finding them. I'm a firm believer in "never give up". I hit pay dirt on my third try. 22 yrs and counting.

No ending and he was a cheater. Threesome with wife and the semi psycho was hypocritical. "Because I can" really who but an arrogant, selfish slut says that to her husband. Also Andi was just not as practiced as her sister, mom and aunt. She was only pissed at Jimmy because he bet her to the cheater's punch bowl. All and all average story with no ending.

The Andi character was a big disappointment. surprised this guy didn't give up or go gay looking for a partner he could trust and love.

Interesting series in most stories on the site in the loving wife category its about the wife cheating he leaves her and then meets and marries his soul mate with no problems trusting however in this 1 his wife cheats not even sorry about it gives trust issues and the other chick tries to manipulate him and then andi comes along plays the part of being 1 of the good ones when he starts to trust her he finds out she's lying to him before they even actually start to date which creates a even bigger trust issue with women before he meets the right person so it seems you should have wrote another part seeing if they make it or at least had a epilogue added to this part saying rather they made it or if she turned out to be like the last 3 women in his life was

Anticlimactic

This was a great story. I loved it that Derek found out about Jill cheating on him and divorced her. But then he was manipulated by Myra and after his divorce from Jill was final, she tried to put her claws into him but he saw through her games and figured that someone who would be fucking her baby’s father on the side and calling it friends with benefits would not be someone he could trust home while he would be working on a job out of town sometime in the future. She would be fucking Jim while he was working and Derek did not want that kind of relationship. The relationship that he found with Erin was beautiful and real. It was as it should be in my opinion. She is a one-guy woman and he is a one-woman man. That is how couples should operate. None of this Dom-Sub crap or Sharing My Wife crap or Cuckold your husband crap or the Swinging scene crap. This is how a relationship should work and those of us who have not found this kind of love are missing something in their lives. Great story and five stars!!

Overall a pretty good story although It was a little tough to put up with the MC being a somewhat narcissistic whiner!!! The poor me, poor f’n me thing was really tiresome especially when he appears to be a little slow witted!!! If he was at all even semi intelligent he would have known, right at the outset, when the first wife sprung the threesome on him that there was a major problem and screwing her friend was not going to fix it!!!!

I loved it from start to finish. It’s so nice to finally read a story where someone suspects cheating, proves it and ends the relationship. No hemming and hawing, no making deals and no bullshit. Just get out and good bye. I don’t know how the hell his ex wife thought there was hope after she admits to her cheating and the shit excuse she gave while also admitting to cheating with someone he was complaining unaware of. All these women giving fake excuses and misleading or omitting the truth is damn pitiful. They claim they want a good guy and when they find one, the lie and cheat right from the start. Great story that deserves 5 stars and some serious applause for breaking out of the same old storyline.

Good story, glad our MC got home, almost, by the end.

I cannot help but think that the reason he is taken in by so many women is that he only chases quite beautiful women. Their beauty is an important part of their description, and, importantly, he is only interested in that type. Andi's beauty made his jaw drop as he met her for the first time, and Erin's beauty makes him fall head-over-heels in love at first sight, and she looked like she belonged on a runway.

So, Myra might seem a contradiction, she actually had a long time to get to know him, and he to know her, through their friends-while-married acquaintance, and she ended up having an inside track with him in more than one way. Yet, even she had a breathtaking body, by our MC's description.

He's perfect and rich and handsome and a good guy and he does not mind established kids, as well, and he only deserves the best...

This story seems to have some kind of perfect man amongst perfect-looking people curse, almost...

Your writing is more than good enough that you don't have to emphasize how beautiful and stunning each and every woman is, specifically, so, it's hard to tell if it is your flaw, or MC's character flaw.

Not a terrible flaw, though, still earns a 5.

A guy who is what he is expects strict honesty and is also shaped by his experience.
