But I enjoyed All's Fair more.

The ending seemed a little rushed, and the sex between Ashley and Kathryn seemed to go a little too far... When I read All's Fair I got a since that as their relationship developed it became more of a game and less about trying to break the other. Their sex here seemed to be about breaking Ashley, which she seemed to pull off, and I don't see how someone recovers from that in a few days to potentially switch roles. It is not like Kath was able to switch roles with the her abusive Captain, after all, even when she wanted to.

I get what you're saying. I'm sad to say events in my life prevented me from giving it a perfect ending.

As for Kat and Ash's relationship... I've always figured that tieflings and fiend-blooded in D&D have different mindsets than humans since they're the descendent of the manifestations of beings of pure evil. Even though they're mostly human, they still don't work in quite the same way.

Also, they're adventurers and bad asses by default. That would probably also help them recover quicker.

Nicely written and entertaining, but taking it as a stand alone story I found the switches in focus a bit unsatisfying; I think I was more interested in Rachel's story than in Alva and Kathryn.

This story was really great and you don't have to leave this as the ending. You could do as a lot of people do and just start up a new submission to continue it. Your story could go really far and it would be a huge hit. You are probably one of the better authors on this site because of how well you write, using proper grammar and all. Anyways keep up the good work
