loved it

You have to be from NJ to truly understand the feelings that the shore evokes. I have spent many summer and early fall days "down the shore." I've met many of the girls described in your story. I would love to read more stories set down the shore.

What a special story! Having been to many of the beach towns down the Jersey Shore I could feel the beauty, the sounds, the smells, the visuals! Knowing full well the bittersweet nature of this special, brief, intense coupling I thought that the ending was nicely done.

There is a tide in the affairs of men, which taken at the flood leads on to fortune omitted? All the voyage of their lives is bound in shallows and in misery And we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures
