Click hereThe police charged Brian with Grievous bodily harm on me and on Jean. That helped the judge to decide to put him away for eight years.
The police told me how Brian had seduced one of they're fellow officers wives, they made it plain they hadn't looked too hard for the men who beat Brian up as they weren't too sure they wouldn't have been arresting one of they're colleagues. I never did find out who stole my bag. If I remember correctly the police did come in that pub that night. But then, how would Samantha's husband and the other guy have got hold of the key to unlock the car doors with? Or did they use Martin's Key? I know all about what Brian did now. But there's lots of things I don't know and I guess I never will.
The End,
of this story, but not really the end of Anita's story, we will hear of her again. She won't get all she would like, but she decides, anything is better than nothing. A slice of the cake, is better than no cake at all.
5* The best part of the series for me - though part 1 runs it close. Overall it, the series, is excellent but it seems, to me, that you get into Anita's head more successfully than you do with any of the other characters.
Best second POV i have read on this site. Very well written and interesting and sad. There seems to be no sympathy for those who need help and guidance in their daily lives. I am one of them…
Sorry, just a quick word to the wise! You did mention at the very beginning, that you had two editors, so I can but presume that when it came to chapter four of "In Over My Head" you somehow got your knickers-in-a-twist, and accidentally published the earlier UN-edited copy in error. No doubt you are by now aware but, just in case, herewith an erratum list for Ch4.

Wow...I hate to agree with people who call kids stupid... But this lady is really freaking dumb
Interesting story. It's hard to believe that someone hates a story and keeps reading it and dislikes it so much that they take the time to let you know they read it and didn't like it. haha

Absolutely unreadable. Repetitive words, stilted prose. Not to mention that as bad as she was Martin was a prison warden. If you want a reconciliation then you must grant trust. You cannot obtain it through torture and constant surveillance.
The Wanderer does a good job of providing us insight into Anita's vapid inner experience. She can't help the fact she is no genius but the fact she engages in absolutely no self reflection along the way to the destruction of her marriage is completely her responsibility.
Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Anita is proof the ancient Greeks were pretty smart folks. Please find her some hemlock.
I had the same thought about seducing multiple women in the class but then I remembered that he seduced Anita after that class was over. They were on to the Spanish class at that point. Since the circle was broken (first class was over) it is a bit more believable.
Thanks for writing!
