I just knew two dozen jalapeño poppers would be trouble, but now we know a little more about the missing queen. I love the slow disclosure of the mystery, and the warm friendship abounding everywhere.
I follow this serial like some people follow “Succession”, etc. Same with Tales From The Stream, etc. This is some quality writing from a singular talent / imagination. Reminds me of that line from the Billy Joel song “Piano Man” - “They say Wax what are you doing here???” But please don’t ever stop…. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love all of this, but I admit I'm a little disappointed there isn't a cheese cave.
And you've done it again - loving kindness, affection without expectations, compassion - simple gestures that every soul is happy about .... Even when reading, this emotional flood reaches one through your words ..... and now Adelaide's fire to help Beatrice and Danika is certainly kindled .... Maybe Adelaide was in the scouts and has brilliant ideas for exploring the labyrinth 🤗

A few things worth mentioning here Wax . I was about to say you always have the best food , I mean jalapeño poppers (but in moderation please friend Adelaide) and pretzels but then you go and give us beetroot and spoil the food lust I had going on lol . But then you give us the friends are here for each other and its what we do , listening and being supportive and that is something I love about your books . Umm I think I've been put of flying by the strapon wings lol. Oooo now we are getting to the nitty gritty and seeing the false Queen in all her dark evilness , i sense dramatic music coming on , no pretzels for Queenie . Seriously though Wax the fact that friendship first and foremost is the underpinning moral of this story is just brilliant and something we can all learn from . Now let's form a search party and go get Beatrice's girl back . Stonkingly great as always Wax, thank you . Jc
