Well written story . It put tears in my eyes

Not a typical LW story. I kept expecting some twist, But, none came. Instead, what we have is a Real Story of Love. Nicely Done.

This story resembles the love & life of my parents! Unfortunately, I will never experience the same experience! I thought I had it in my first marriage, that never happened.

I see that its been a year since I last read this marvelous story. Apparently our parents were better at love than we have been, judging from others here. Christmas Eve marked 5 years since my father passed, he and my mom had a great marriage.

I lost one wife to COPD after a long slow downhill walk. Years later I found another to light my soul. She passed from cancer after less than two years. So whom will be there for me when I cross that barrier and follow the light?

A good real life tale showcasing a different generations idea and values of life partners. Its like the wives that got back out of the life boats about to be lowered into the water to be by their husbands side when the Titanic was about to sink. Well done....JZK

I almost gave this one star as I was really saddened by it. But it was very well written.

Ruth: "Your bride will never be another's bride. Now go to sleep, you old fool."

=====> I would be the same way with my spouse. Of course for me I woukd substitute groom for bride :)

A wonderful story of love in an insane word, I’m sorry you are no longer writing. I wish you were but I hope you are doing well and are happy, I’ve read all your stories down to this one and will finish them all as I’ve enjoyed every one of them. You are a good a writer as anyone on here. Good luck. MtM

Why can't we give 10 stars. Malroux is another author that needs 10 stars on his stories
