I smiled at the memory.

Then my smile faded.

I thought to myself, "Maybe... what if?"

So, I closed my eyes for five seconds.

When I opened my eyes, all I saw was the blackness of the road in my headlights.

I let out a deep sigh and sat up and adjusted myself in the seat.

A mile later my headlights caught the reflection of a car on the side of the road.

A girl in boots and a letter jacket waved to me.

Tracey.

Hell, yeah, I stopped my truck.
