This chapter was perfect for me.

Did it have your crack weasel energy writting style that makes me laugh my ass off ,yes it did but it also had a tiny moment of character/world building seriousness. Im enjoying this story as its written quite a lot and while I still believe this story could be epic if rewritten in a more serious light, I would happily read the next one hundred chapters if they were written like this chapter, a tiny moment of character/world building seriousness candy coated in crack weasel energy.

Those tiny moments are, at least for me what allows a deeper understanding and connection to the story and characters and therefore a deeper enjoyment of the story as a whole.

I'm going to take a look at some of the stories you suggested and hopefully that will tide me over till chapter 6. Keep up the good work.
