Loved it, liked the big and rich mention, for many years the kids and I sang that song in the kitchen so often, till my daughter was 12/13 and she suddenly understood the meaning, she had to tell me off. Yeah i just grinned. We still sing it together when it comes on the playlist. Great story. Nothing wrong with gentle build up, loving, caring. Great

Just wanted to write here, I truly appreciate all the love! I am currently a student so it is hard to make these happen consistently but I love to write them when I can. If anyone has any personal requests or story ideas, feel free to comment them. I love being able to incorporate others.

What a great story! The characters were like real people whom I've known a long time. Developing characters as well as you have done is not an easy thing to do.

Enjoyed the story and the characters, but have to say your description of the actual work on the farm wasn’t very convincing, based on my experiences helping with chores and field work with/for relatives. The nature of the work was legit, but the timing, maybe not so much.
