I enjoyed the structure of this story and also its narrative arc: Izzy and Emily's self-imposed drift towards (and into) obsession and submission. Not to mention (for Izzy) towards heterosexual acts and incest. Keeping Justin out of all the story's direct action was another interesting and clever move.
I'm not sure how the constant references to certain TV shows contribute the story--in large part because I've been TV-less for the past three decades. If I were thoroughly familiar with "Friends," would I be seeing additional depths in the story that I'm missing now? Or would the story work just as well if the couple turned off the set and put on some music?
In any case I found the story interesting, creative, and very clever in technique.
I liked almost everything about this one except for the S&M aspect. I can't help but wonder if Justin's sister and Emily have set themselves up for devastation. What's going to happen to these two brainwashed lovers if Justin rejects them because he's strictly opposed to the idea of incest? 4/5
Secret mind control story, I bet: Justin is doctoring the episodes with subliminal messaging.
Good writing, but lacking in explicit details. Dragged on and on, and the only incest was in their fantasies. I see the hints of subliminal suggestion, but it feels unfulfilled.
Please please please do a sequel to this. The build up is already amazing.
