A very well written story, but maybe it should have been filed under BDSM? I just found it too hard to swallow that he claims to love her and yet beats her with a belt (which I know from personal experience is extremely painful and humiliating and strongly believe should never be done without a person's explicit consent), and she acts like everything is great in the end and is supposedly a sub, which to me says this belongs in the BDSM category. This would have been more realistic if there would have been repercussions for him overstepping the bounds with the beating and the ropes to the point of blood. Restraint is one thing, but letting her get bloody is just careless of him, so it is hard to buy it when he claims to love her and yet hurts her without remorse. I guess it's proof of what a great writer you are that you got your readers so worked up :D.

Wow, amazing writing. It felt like they were long-time friends, at least a few years, yet never tried to be a couple. It took an awful lot for each to voice their feelings.

The sad part, is that they might not ever get close to that intensity again. The whole anticipation, shock and surprise, and finally recognizing a strong level of trust that wasn’t there before. As long as she has that trust, she’ll have high expectations which will be almost impossible to meet.
