Taken back by being questioned, the self-appointed alpha of the group was lost for words.

"Fuckin' hell. I told you to stop being so rude," Seth roused at Damon as he flopped into the seat beside Dillon. "Damo is just pissed cause he didn't get lucky with his partner. It was actually pretty funny to watch. He went for it, all guns blazing, and she dropped him like a tonne of bricks."

"Chick wasn't even that hot," Damon boiled from the opposite side of the table.

"Be that as it may," Seth continued. "She verbally owned him. I even felt sorry for the prick for a few seconds there."

Laughing at the story, Dillon dedicated half his thought space to his friends whilst the other reverted back to Suki and what their meeting that afternoon might entail...
