Excellent story of true love. Liked Ruth taking a Switch to the naked ex-girlfriend, to bad she didn't catch her ass once or twice before the X got out the door. Just realized his parents hasn't seen Ruth's house yet, that could be some jaw dropping comedy in a future chapter. Love this one, Five Stars!

The story COULD end here. Or not. It's up to you, DO6! I was in a May-December relationship in 2015. (We called it "June-October", since I was in my late 50s and she was in her mid 30s.) It ended in 2016, despite our marriage plans. Coming from different decades means coming from different cultures. This could be the basis for an interesting continuation. All I know for sure is that I miss her still. (And in Peter's words: "Fuck! Can that woman suck cock!") :(

...to get to Ch.02, and I wanted to reread Ch.01 for continuity. Normally, I’m not a fan of unnecessary epilogues, where the “happily ever after” is easily inferred, but “Lady in the Rain” is different in that the May/December dynamic implied impermanence. The confrontation with Lucille, where Ruth clearly “took ownership” of Peter, and then the resolution with, and blessing by the family moved the story from a sweet, sexy little affair to a heart warming romance. Very satisfying. Thank you. *****+

What a love story, very enjoyable. At the dance with the X I just wanted to shout at Peter to grow a pair, but it still worked out in the end, especially when Ruth chased the naked X out the front door LOL. Love, sex and a happy ending, what else could we ask for? Five stars for sure.

As a person of literature, I'd say the way in which the story is presented is really good... Touches to the very core of your heart like his feelings when he

(1) got dumped

(2) got caught by his boss

(3) got a lil jealous of his sister's success

(4) got enraged due to his ex....

All of the protagonist's feelings in these instances are very practical and can be connected to...

That's what I like most. Furthermore, it is common to base your story on a central theme/idea (the rain here) but many a times writers do lose sight of that by the end of the story which in this case turns out to be excellently woven...

It is said that a story isn't known well for its plot, it is most known for the way in which it is told/described. You did a wonderful job there.

In a nut shell, there is a simple starting to which some serious events were added (the dumping, anique shop incident) which was then coated with some steamy romance, family matters, blasts from past. Then finally it was garnished with a great proposal and all the inspiration came from The Rain which sometimes really does work to ignite love and romance... Henceforth, A Fantabulous Combo...

Absolutely loved it!! In all my years I was lucky to love 2 women that were older than me. While not the age difference between the two lovers in this wonderful story, my two loves were 10 yrs and 14 yrs older than me. Both were before I met the final love of my life. If you folks get a chance, read StangStar06's "O.I.N.D. GILF" . His story is in the same vein as the above with a big difference in age but the love between the lovers is very palpable and it gets into your very soul, feeling their great love. I mean does she have absolute faith in him or was she near enough to hear what was going on...?

Part 2...Even better than Part 1!! Ruth is definitely a LADY...and she protected what is hers...

Lucille...figured you had her showing up at some point...it being on the tropical island like that...gave Ruth the impetus to be more committed to Peter...and she used a switch to chase Lucille away. (Lucille...what a poor example of femininity...all those assets, and acts like that! Peter was right to reject her like that!)
