Click hereWhile waiting for the primer to dry, he got on his computer to look up muscular dystrophy to see what Mindy's fate might be in the years to come. But something was odd. Her symptoms didn't quite match the symptoms described on several of the muscular dystrophy web sites he browsed through. Too late to ask her about it now, though; oh well.
A little later, after the primer had dried, he spray painted her with a coat of glossy black, making her look more-or-less like a marble statue.
He had many other sculptures in progress that he wanted to continue working on. So that evening, he went down to his studio and got busy.

I think it works best the way it is, without us knowing what she is thinking. It's so much more chilling because when she becomes the statue she actually disappears--and because we don't know whether she really understands what she's getting into. Thanks for the great story!
I had a feeling. The feeling didn't stop. Reading your story made me want to close my eyes and not see it any more, but alas I read on, and was mollified, knew it was coming and it did. You have written a great piece of work. Thank You. Thanks, D
Bizarre, but great. I suspect we are all dying to know her feelings the first few days or weeks of being encased. Thatw ould take some careful thought to write.
