Great story. Though I cannot understand the need to kill off the actual hero of the story. Also, like I advice other writers, p[ease do a bit of research on guns and history. That colt pistol would not have used shells, or "bullets". Some were drilled out and became .38's. But since it was here brother's and she used the existing rounds from the Civil War to kill those men it would have been a percussion primed cap and ball muzzel loader. :-)
