Not sure if I understand the final line of the chapter. But it appears that Tom and Angelina get 34 years together as husband and wife. I'm not sure if that is enough time to tame Ms. Angelina Lione Bailey. Anyway, I think Brian was the star of the wedding.

Thinking about Ann, Tom's mother, I wonder how Tom would react if his mother started smoking with a cigarette holder. Plenty of space for Tom to figure out the origin of his older woman/smoking fetish.

The chapter was as masterfully written as the chapters that came before it.
