The Victorian Star Empire has a long and prudish history, from its initial delicate expansion into the virgin worlds of the Centaurus arm to its somewhat awkward exploration of the black hole at the Milky Way's core. (There's something improper about black holes, you see.)

I'm not sure if their levels of propriety and prudishness are sustainable, though. We'll have to see.
