Love and Marriage -- A Stella & Margarita Story.

After the night of celebration and carrying on in the Officer's Mess, Stella was restricted to bed for a further 3 days, Margarita stayed with her in the same room. Single hospital beds were not ideal for the two lovers, but they made do. They used the time to talk, they talked about everything that had happened to them. Margarita explained about her time at the shooting range and that some thought she was a pretty good shot. Stella smiled and told her that to hit a target at 1500 metres, a moving target at that, then she was more than just a good shot. She was special. To hit it 98 times out of 100 put her in the rare company of maybe half a dozen people in the whole world.

She lay there with her and teased her. "Assuming you aren't kidding me, you will be in high demand," Stella told her.

"Baby, I wouldn't tell you fibs about such things, nor would I make up stories I don't need to impress you, do I?" Margarita was laying on top of the blankets while Stella, still in her hospital gown lay under the covers.

Stella hugged her, "No you don't, and I will tell you a little secret my love, you already do impress me. But don't belittle your achievements, sweetie, I know what you can do once you put your mind to it," She kissed her head and cuddled her a little tighter.

Margarita snuggled into her soon-to-be wife. "I missed you so," She told Stella. "But there is something I have to tell you, I hope it will be ok,"

"What is it babe?" Stella inquired. Knowing there was nothing she could have done that couldn't be forgiven.

Margarita took a deep breath, "First make a promise to me," She asked nervously while laying close to Stella, trying to find the right way to explain her feelings.

"Whatever it is I promise you that my feelings for you won't change," Stella hoped beyond hope that the time away from her hadn't tempted her to stray.

Margarita took another deep breath and started to tell her. "The other day, you know when you were fighting those Chinese people," She started hesitantly. "Well, Matron told me you needed me, that there was no one else so I had to. I saw them coming up the stairs to get you. I shot them, two of them." She was crying. "I didn't feel anything, no remorse, nothing. All I thought about was you, can please forgive me." Stella didn't say anything. She just held her and kissed her head. She breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

"So it was YOU who saved me," Came the reply. She held her tightly before continuing. "I have to tell you about this place inside our head, which you need to keep under lock and key. You need to put all the black ugly stuff in there, then close the door on it and lock it away. Keep hold of the key, let no one know where you keep it, not even me. That's how I survive and keep going," Stella then dragged her up to her face and kissed her lips stroking her cheeks, she smiled and said, "Thank you, you saved my life, my love." She took a deep breath before continuing, "Babe, we all have to do things we don't want to do. It won't change you Mags. You are still the smart, cute, bubbly, little creature that captured my heart. You don't need my approval or permission about such things,"

"Oh, but I do," Mags held her face in her two small hands and kissed her so passionately. She pushed her groin onto her lover's thigh. Rubbing her sexy body up against her. Stella moved her good leg into a position to let her know that they had time before anyone would interrupt them. Margarita pulled her T-shirt off over her head and pushed her tight black yoga pants and a sexy red thong down and kicked them off. Then crawled under the covers to feel the warmth of Stella up against her naked body. Stella smiled, and whispered, "In the mood are you," and kissed her as her hands roamed over her body. "Oh yes, I am, very much in the mood,"

Stella's hands found her stiff nipples and Mags arched her back and moaned, she pulled Mags up to her mouth and her warm wet lips started to suckle on her nipples. Mag's eyes were closed and she grabbed Stella's hair in both of her hands and pulled gently as Stella's lips held onto her nipple as it raced over those small petite orbs of sensual mounds and then back and forth on each nipple in turn as Margarita's moans grew into audible groans of pleasure. Stella's hand ventured down over her taunt stomach reaching her mound, her inflamed lips parted easily for her finger as it searched for her tight opening, as soon as her hand ran over her hidden pearl, she almost screamed, Stella put her other hand over her mouth as a finger entered her and the palm of her hand rubbed the enlarged clit, sending electric shocks through her sweet tender body. Thrusting her hips against Stella's hand Margarita worked faster and harder against the soft gentle hand holding her in place as she felt the hidden tide inside build to a crescendo, she worked faster, as did Stella, using a second finger Mags pushed down as the wave of orgasmic relief left her body Her scream was muffled as she lay there panting, giggling, she pulled Stella's face up from her chest. Her breathing came in rapid short bursts. Stella held onto her. She too was panting, enjoying the moment. Seeing sweet little Mags completely wrecked. She laughed a little and cuddled her young lover all the while leaving her hand in place.

They both lay there slowly coming down from their emotional high. Both were in sync with each other, their breathing, their hearts beating as one. They closed their eyes and slept. They were awakened when a nurse cleared her throat as she turned on the light in their room. They had been asleep for over an hour.

"Sorry to disturb you, but the doctor is coming over to see you, Major Murphy," She told them. It wasn't the first time the nursing staff found them in a loving embrace. No one concerned themselves with such things, no one was embarrassed. Except for Margarita that is.

Margarita smiled at her and thanked her, her face flushed as she blushed. Stella just lay there. "I think I should run through the shower quickly. Do I have enough time?"

"If you're quick you should be ok," Stella was told.

Mags looked at the nurse and said that she would help Stella in the shower and not to wait for her. She didn't want the nurse to know that she was naked under the covers so she waited for the nurse to leave before quickly jumping out of bed and throwing her clothes back on. She smiled at Stella as she pulled her yoga pants back on. "I missed you so much Stell,"

Stella got out of bed pulling the hospital gown closed behind her as she put her robe on, grabbed a towel and her toiletries and walked over to the shower room. Margarita followed her and put her arm around her waist as she caught up with her.

"Stell, let's push the doctor to let me take you home babe, I mean you feel OK don't you?"

"Yes, I feel great, now." She told her with a wicked smile on her face.

"Stop it, I am trying to be serious," Mags told her. Once they got inside the shower room, Margarita locked the door. And sat on a chair while she watched Stella disrobe and set the water temperature to the 'just right' setting. She watched as the water fell over her body, how she quickly washed herself and then caught Margarita's eye so washed her boobs slowly, and then sent her hands down to her mound and smiled as she knew little Mags was so aroused by it all.

"You are so bad Stella," she was told. Then changing the situation she started to tell Stella.

"Wait till you see our new place, our bedroom has huge skylights, we can just lay in bed and look up and see the stars, and if we want we can light up our own roof, thingy," She bubbled on and on about the apartment. About the way they can see who is coming and going. And they can unlock the front door before they get to it, and how the stairs light up as you climbed each step.

Stella smiled at her, she knew why it sounded so perfect, why they could see who was coming and going, why there were lights on their roof and skylights. But she loved hearing her Mags speak, so full of life, so joyful, so much in love. "Dry me, sweetheart, slowly just like you do at home,"

"We don't have time for seconds Stella, the Doctor, remember," Margarita told her. "You are in a playful mood this afternoon aren't you?"

"It's the company I keep," Stella replied. Smiling at her. "I need to marry you in quick time before anyone else finds you," She told her. "You make me feel so good inside, you have a way about you that cleans my soul baby, and you have no idea what you mean to me,"

Margarita was drying her back as she was saying all this, she wrapped her arms around Stella and then told her, "If it is half as much as what you mean to me, then it is an awful lot of love," And she kissed her between her shoulder blades, which was as high as she could reach on her tall lover.

They walked back to the ward to find the doctor waiting for them. He smiled, at the fresh-looking couple. "You look in fine form Major, and hello Margarita," He was studying her chart and asked her to hop up on the bed so he could look at her wounded calf. "OK, it looks like there is no infection, how does it feel to you?"

"OK, I guess," He looked at Margarita and then back to Stella.

Talking to Margarita, "Has she complained to you about it being sore or uncomfortable?"

"Not really, she has tried to scratch it a few times," Mags told him.

"That's a good sign, it tells me it is healing." Turning to the nurse, he told her, "Show Margarita how to dress the wound, what to look for etc," And then turning back to the Major told her, "If you look after it and keep off of it for a few days more you can go home,"

He started making notes on the chart. "Nurse give her a check-up and get her out of here, she is tying up a bed, bloody malingers," It was all said with a smile. He nodded to her and said, "Thank you, Major,"

The nurse smiled at him and answered the doctor in a time-old tradition, "Yes Sir,"

He filled out a prescription for a dose of antibiotics and a letter for her own doctor. "Who's your local doctor Murphy?"

"I don't have one yet, not sure where we are going to be staying."

He sighed and explained the situation to them both, "The internal stitches will dissolve in about a month's time and the external ones we will take out in around 3 months' time. If you need pain relief simple paracetamol will work." Then turning to Margarita he asked her, "Will you look after her, and keep her in line,"

"Huh, fat chance keeping her inline, but I'll certainly try, and I will always look after her," Margarita replied with a warm smile.

The Doctor nodded and smiled, "I know you will," He walked away after saying his goodbyes.

They hugged as the nurse told her to get dressed. It then dawned on them that all Stella had was the dirty smelly wet suit she came in with. Mags looked at her and said, "You aren't coming home in a hospital gown so I will shoot around to the old place and pick up all of your clothes,"

"Sounds like a plan," Stella told her.

Margarita rang Bianca and asked if she could pick her up. At that precise moment, Bianca was in a state of undress with Tilley trying ever so hard to get her out of her jeans and knickers.

"Mag's sweetie, can you ring Corrine I am busy right now," Margarita heard her grunting, groaning and knew exactly what she meant.

"Of course, and enjoy whatever you are doing," She replied with a laugh.

Corrine was more than happy to help out, she was laying on her bed reading and welcomed the distraction. She was bored and wanted this to be over with, once and for all. She had been told to wait until she had clearance to leave the base. She rounded up a car and a driver from the garage and came around to the Base Hospital and went in search of Margarita. They weren't that hard to find, and Corrine knocked on their door before just entering. Mags was being shown how to dress Stella's wounded calf. What to look out for, what to touch and what not to touch.

She smiled at everyone but only knowing Margarita. "Hi," She said as she got a blank look from both the nurse and Stella.

She looked a little unsure until Margarita went over to her and hugged her. "I want you to meet Stella, this is the love of my life the one I kept telling you about,"

Corrine held out her hand to Stella, who took it and shook it gently. Stella was taken aback by the good-looking Corrine Myers. Slim, young, pretty, in an androgynous way, with a soft smile and endearing demeanor about her. You couldn't help but like her, she had that appeal about her.

Margarita explained that at first, Bianca stayed with her but then she got reassigned by the Matron and Corrine came and stayed with her. She didn't go into any details and Stella could see how a randy young girl could be tempted, very tempted to stray.

Margarita read Stella's mind and stood back away from her and put a hand on her hip and glared at her soon-to-be wife. "Really, you're thinking that I'd do that to you?"

Stella and Corrine looked back at Mags while the nurse excused herself to collect the prescription and quickly hurried off.

Stella had a dumb look on her face, "I didn't say a word,"

"You didn't have to Stella Murphy, you should be ashamed of yourself,"

Corrine also had a look of puzzlement on her, "Have I missed something?"

Margarita explained herself. "Corrine, you are a good-looking woman and my fiancée for a moment, thought that I might have strayed,"

"What, you and me, no way, no honest to god............NO WAY, honestly. I stayed in the guest room every night on my own. I promise nothing happened, all she ever talked about was you, Stella this Stella that, she picks my clothes, she orders everything. SO no, .......oh god, no, ......never." Corrine stumbled around every word.

"Thank you for looking out for Mags for me," Stella finally said with a smile.

There was a break in the conversation as she looked back and forth at both Stella and Mags. "Have I just been set up?" Corrine asked.

Stella answered. "Not really, little missy over there just overreacts to things at times," pointing in the general direction of Margarita. "And thank you for running around after us today too, I could have done it but I have to wait on being officially discharged from here,"

"Not a problem, glad I can help," she replied. "Phew, I thought I was in trouble for a sec,"

Stella looked at Margarita who was still trying hard to pretend to be angry at her, without much luck. "Go on, the sooner you get going the sooner I can get out of here,"

Mags went over to her and kissed her and Stella grabbed her backside, and whispered to her, "Never in a million years would I actually think you'd be unfaithful,"

"I know, but seeing Corry stumble around denying it was a sight," Mags whispered back to her. They both laughed.

No sooner had they left than Stella got a surprise visitor. General Sir Arthur Higgins came in and stood watching Stella trying to scratch at her wound.

"I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to do that Major," He took her by surprise. He was known by his staff as 'whispering Jesus' he had the knack to move about silently and just appear to anyone out of nowhere.

Stella stopped what she was doing and looked at him and just smiled. "I've been expecting you," She told him.

"I'm sure you have. Where is Margarita?"

"Just gone to get me some clothes from the old place. I am out of here today," She explained.

"I have two pieces of news one for her and one for you," He sat at the foot of the bed and picked up his phone dialled a number and told whoever it was on the other end to come in.

She heard Bluey before she saw him, he was barking and obviously straining on his leash. He knew who he was going to see. His barking became a howling, a crying almost as he came into the room and tried his hardest to jump up onto the bed. His whole body was wagging, there was no mistaking he was happy to see his Stella. The woman who was trying to control him gave up. She let the lead go and Bluey was licking and howling at Stella, his tail flicking the General so hard that he got up and moved away before finding a chair for the woman. She was around the same age as Stella, maybe a few years older. She had a weather-beaten look about her, a kindly face, not pretty but not unattractive either. There was something familiar about her, but the Major couldn't place her.

"Major Stella Murphy I'd like you to meet Mary Fitzgibbon, Margarita's Mother,"

The silence was deafening.

Stella looked over at the woman, not knowing what to say.

Bluey was demanding all the attention, barking and howling still.

Mary spoke first, "I think your dog has been missing you,"

Stella smiled "I've missed him too," She was trying to get her head around what was happening. "Mary, it is wonderful to meet you. Mags won't be too long, she is just off to get me some clothes to go home in,"

"I understand. How is she? You called her Mags, I used to call her that, is she OK?"

Stella looked over at the General, unsure of how much he had told her. He picked up on the inquiring look and told her this, "Major, Mary knows that you took Margarita in after she escaped from her father. That you work for me and that you and Margarita live together as a couple,"

Oh, I see," Stella said quietly.

Mary stood up and looked at Stella, "Major Murphy, I have no say in how my daughter lives her life, I only hope she can forgive me for what I did to her. I abandoned her."

As those last words left her lips Margarita entered the room. She stood looking at her, and she recognised her immediately. Bluey went ballistic barking, jumping off the bed almost into Margarita's arms. He once again began barking, howling and wagging his whole body. Margarita was crying, hopelessly crying for joy, seeing Bluey again and remembering the last time they were together. The dog was going crazy.

Only after she had hugged the dog, picked him up, and cuddled him did she respond to the woman in the room. "Mum, oh my god, mum," The tears were cascading down her cheeks. Mary didn't know whether to go to her or not. Corrine moved to one side and handed Stella her clothes that Mags had dropped. The General suggested they let the Major get dressed.

Bluey had jumped from Mag's arms and back onto the bed and he lay on Stella's legs, eyeing everyone in the room. Margarita stood in the doorway as the General eased passed her. He whispered to her, "Give her a chance".
