To answer your question: I think I'm going to sit on that for a little while.

I've found a couple of typos that made it into this draft, so I'm going to try and do a better job of editing and have this version replaced with one with better word choices.

I want to thank you for bringing back a treasured character, Amberle. She, McKayla, Maureen and Nicole have been my favorite characters and I love them dearly. And I too am very curious about the letter. Thanks again for making my day by posting another chapter of their lives.

Personally I only noticed a couple of typo`s and one tense error and rest assured it in NO WAY detracted from an amazing continuation of your beautiful tale.

One way you demonstrated your knowledge was possibly overlooked by most.

Your inclusion of Glasgow as opposed to Edinburgh in your list of cities visited before McKaylas` demise was inspired.

Although Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, Glasgow is a far more interesting and beautiful city, although having been born there I may be a little biased.

Edinburgh basically has 3 things worth seeing:- the castle, the zoo and Princes Street.

Like New York there IS, like every city in the world, parts that have poverty and even "no go" areas for tourists (sadly getting even worse due to uncontrolled migration and fake asylum seekers), but Glasgow DOES have amazing Art Galleries (free entry), the Peoples Palace, Burrel Collection, Glasgow Green, 3 famous football (soccer) clubs and all the other things found in major cities.

The story was heart warming, with all mental anguish that only the bereaved would fully appreciate.

I would not wish the loss of a partner (especially at a young age) on my worst enemy (not that I have one), but you have managed to capture the emotions and thought processes perfectly and convey to the reader just the right amount of feelings without going overboard.

Although, this comment is in the Love, the 2nd Time Around Ch. 02 section, I am really commenting on the entire 04-McKayla's Miracle; 01-Tapestry & 02-Love, the 2nd Time Around chapters in this story series. The entire 07-Chapters were filled with love, compassion and accepting personal differences in becoming good friends. This wonderful story, commenced 12-years ago, when Amberie and McKayla met on a girls nights with friends. Then Mckayla's tragic death from cancer occurred, followed 6-years later with Amberie meeting Nicole on a girls beach weekend.

Each of the 07-chapters were well written, with exquisite character development and exhibited a range of emotions such as anger, compassion, love, despair, tension, contentment and others. There was the "occasional rare grammatical error", however in NO way did they distract from each wonderful story (s). I trust the Author will continue releasing additional stories in this series, including more in the lives of Amberie, Nicole, Maureen, Stephen, family and friends for a few additional years.

I am also quite interested in knowing the content of McKayla's letter to Amberie in this chapter!!!!

All 07-Chapters of this story series were solid 5*STAR ratings!!!

I loved this update to this on going story and this wonderful cast of characters. This is one of the better romance story in this site.

Will we touch base with the rest of the Spring Break characters. It's been a few years since the the last time we met them in the D/s wife-swapping story.

Yay, I love this series so much!! Amberle is written so well, and the relationship between her and Nichole is great! I love that everyone in this story is so likable. They act like people with their own personalities, and that’s so appreciated. This has everything, love, heart, humor, great sex scenes, I literally cannot say enough good about it! Oh, and I’m also curious about the letter as well. Thank you so much for another great chapter! :)

McKayla's Miracle has long been one of my favourite stories on this site but somehow I missed this one when it was posted. It was a comment from Sandy Paris that made me aware of Chapter 2, so thanks, Sandy. A good dramatic story and a fitting finale (?) to the saga. Thanks for the ride, HLD.

I read McKayla's miracle when you first posted it herein. Over the years I read other stories by you, but then I was absent for over 8 years to your offerings. Imagine my delight upon seeing you posted some more of Amberle's life! Thank you!

How can I tell you that the entire Amberle series, including the entire McKayla's MIracle and Lost Love, are a one in a lifetime great read. In the past I have always been into the ranchier, kinkier, stuff. But this romantic series, with both its happy and sad moments, is a real page turner. Amberle's life with both McKayla and Nichole is something that everyone would love to have. Once again, it's a terriffic series. One that must be read from beginning to end without jumping any chapters. Great work!

This series has always been in my personal "top ten" since I first read it.

It is a fascinating tale of love, loss and moving on.

Sadly I`m sure many people have found themselves in similar situations, well perhaps minus the financial stability and security.

Nonetheless, the entire series, from the "Miracle" stories, through the "Tapestry" and finally the "Second Time" tales are well written, sentimental without being overly so, and loving.

Congratulations.

What a twelve year writing journey! Quite the accomplishment.

And the one and only Lesbian story. An even bigger accomplishment.

I forgot to mention, I rarely read lesbian romances written by males.

Somehow, they rarely "fly" with me.

You know of the saddest thing about this is: Amberle has come full circle. She has settled down after loosing her first wife, finally come to terms with her death and loss. Fell in love and gotten married and ready to live her life anew. This is one of the happy/sad moments when reading an excellent story. It can’t go one forever, you could write about incidents in their lives, but the angst, tension, coming to terms of her life is finished. She is at peace. It is done! So I leave you this.
