The plot ran out.pretty quick. There wasn't much of a reconciliation, but the change in the wife was astounding, from a woman indifferent to sex (isn't every man's ) to a woman obsessed with sex with him. Seemed very unbelievable.
Plus she didn't much mind his cheating.
