If this isn't a feel good story I don't know what is. Nice how it was tied up at the end with the oak tree and planting the acorn. The start of the story was so dark and still filled with emotion but it gave substance to the story. Made me smile when Maggie walked up to the busy Joyce and wasn't recognized for a bit. Thanks

There were a few confusing points where it was not possible to identify who was speaking. But other than that it was a compelling story.
Awesome just awesome we should al be so lucky. You are a gifted story teller I give your story a 4 on the Budweiser Scale !!!***

A sweet and touching story. This author writes great romantic tales.
The situation described here is very similar to my first suicide attempt. My second hasn't happened yet. Great job with the story, I just wish we all could have a happy ending like that.
Beautiful exposition of the feelings of a suicide, and the problems of holding out hope to her and eventually rescuing her.
In the end, a beautiful romance surrounding by brilhiant imagery.
Dear Readers...Rwsteward here. I have been overwhelmed with private comments about "Maggie's Story." Some of the emails I received said I don't really know the pain and suffering of suicide. Not all suicide attempts have such a sweet ending. I know they don't. On Easter sunday 2005, my only son took his life. He was 22. It was over a girlfriend. So, yes. I know the pain of suicide all too well.
Very nice wrap up of the story. I wished that everyone who attempts suicide could have happiness like this. Such an occurrence is plausible, but so rare that it is sad to consider.
Very sweet. The only problem I really noticed was in the dialog. Some was a bit stilted, but it wasn't too bad. The main issue was that when you had lines of dialogue exchanged without identifying who was talking, it sometimes became difficult to follow.
I truly lovely read. A story that pulls you along at a nice gentle pace. One of those stories that you feel a bit miffed when you come to the end because you get hooked up in the lives of the characters. A good and pleasant read. Thank you.
