Oh Did I try....

... To read the story! A forewarning about the Scottish dialect being used would have been a great start. Sorry, it seems to have the making of a great story, unfortunately, had to stop...

Scottish dialect in the story

Hello all, I have received some feedback on the difficulty of interpreting some of the Scottish dialect in this and subsequent chapters of the story. I believe the use of the dialect adds to the reality and atmosphere and is integral in the character development of Kate. I have tried to use it in a way that could be easily understood, however at times you may have to read a few more lines to get the jist of what is bring said, I understand that this can be problematic for some, and will be willing to provide a more readable version in its entirety for those whom would like more clartity if there is enough demand,(Even the character William at times has trouble with 'Kate Speak' at times in the story so don't despair) As it is a very long story this edit will take some time. For those who cannot wait and are willng to do a bit of homework you can google english to scottish translate and you may plug in any word or phrase you are having difficulty with and all will be explained, For true liguists this can actually be quite fun! If you wish e mail me and I will help.

Thanks to all for your kind (and not so kind words)
