Wait....imports does effect GDP

If my economics knowledge serves me well, imports brings down a country's GDP!

But the rest of the story was very good.

Good story - good understanding of economics

Imports have a net zero affect on GDP - added in consumption, subtracted in the net export calculation.

Economics aside - lovely story - looking forward to more.
