Mr. Dinsmore,
I have read a lot of stories on our wonderful site here on Literotica.com but "Maryanne's First Kiss" has to rank very near Number 1.
Sir, you deserve to be a Published Author. How have all the Publishing Houses miss you? As time permits I look forward to reading more of your wonderful stories.
Best Wishes

"Ditto" the previous comment. Wonderful story.
I was pleasantly surprised! the story has a very unique tempo, and wraps up nicely! great work and thank you for sharing.
Your story blew me away. It was powerful, poignant and very satisfying.

Yet, like a moth to the flame you have to pursue the story to the end. That's the mark of one damn fine author. Thank You. Ronnie W.
It was a wonderful story but I was expecting something different. Your line, "Let's assume that one of us did ask her to the prom and she accepted and start the story there.". I took that line to mean that that all that followed was a fantasy or a dream of some sort.
I suppose that’s what I get for trying to out guess a talented writer.
Thanks for a great read.
Saying this was non-erotic. It clearly was a Romance story, and one of hte better ones.
That story just about brought tears to my eyes. Very well done! Keep up the good work.
This will always be my favorite. the best work I ever did.

Thanks for weaving this beautiful tale. It has a kind of O Henry feel to it. I really enjoy your writing, how about dragging out that loom and crafting another story for us? Very best to you.
You noted in your 12/17/10 comment that you felt this was your best work. I agree -- well written -- a great plot with laced with romance and suspense. Thanks for posting it.

really loved this amazing story...
It is a real shame when people fall victim to depression. Glad that they saved each other.
Another very good story by the author who has become my favorite on Literotica.
I don't think Dinsmore has written a single story I didn't absolutely love. I just hope he keeps on doing it for years to come. 5 Stars.
I reread your story due to a Lit suggestion. I was blown away! I guess reading a lot of Lit stories (I mostly read the Romance, Mature, and Non-Erotic stories) over the years has honed my tastes and appreciation for great writing!
You never disappoint!
Thanks, Dinsmore for a great read!
It's my first comment in literotica.
I just want to say wow! What an amusing writing!
Thanks Mr. Dinsmore for such a lovely story.
I keep wondering how I’ve missed this story for so many years. Oh well, I finally found it, and it is great. Thank you, Mr. Dinsmore.
After 14 years, I still consider it your best story and maybe the best on this website.

Wow, what touching and moving story. This story of a heroes tragedy, fate of two lost loves is well written with characters that came alive. Then to a happily ever after ending, couldn't ask for more. Well Done Dinsmore. 5 stars!!
I first read this story on YouTube some time ago. It is one of the many I have discovered stolen from accomplished writers such as you and posted on YouTube. Fortunately, those accounts on YouTube have been terminated. 5 STARS CC
Things that didn’t make sense wasting time towing the car out of the ditch in a snowstorm while a strange woman sat in your car freezing. The ride to the house should have established identity or the inability to speak coherently. There’s just so many contradictory and missing details. It has potential but definitely needs a rewrite.
A story like this is about caring and loving. Yes, there are technical errors and inconsistencies. That doesn't change the intent or feeling. Enjoy the intent and leave with wet eyes.
Once I started reading this story I was hooked. I was hoping against all hope that Maryanne and David would be reunited in the end. I'm a sucker for a good romance story and this is one of the best I've read in a long time. Thanks.
Great Story. It ended so quickly. I related to the story because in my Senior Year , I took Jeanne Ann to the prom. I wound up marrying Jeanne Ann (MA). We just had our 56th anniversary. You see I went to Vietnam right after we were married. If it does not kill you, (hardships) it will make you stronger. Thanks for the story.
Awww that was so sweet...wishing it was longer...but awesome read..will be venturing on you list of submissions
Very romantic. Frankly I wished my life had evolved like in this story, but alas not. Unfortunately Inhave never reconnected to my former still badly missed lover. ALA cue the violins…..
