I just knew Chapter 19 couldn't be 'The End'.

I was so pleased to discover this wonderful story hadn't ended in Chapter 19, although I am still quite unable to find a copy of the original story, upon which this lovingly-written homage is written.

As is so often the case, to make a rather crude connection, a translation can be even tighter and more focused than the original work; at least that is what Gabriel García Márquez is said to have said!

Well done once again, sdbnnc, for bringing us this major piece of work. I am already itching to read the next chapter - it offers so much!

E. L. James - eat your heart out!

Beating the truth out of someone?

A dom breaking every rule and brutalizing his sub, all in the name of honesty? This pushes over the line into abuse, imho.

Agreed

Any Man who does that..forfiets the title of Master and merely becomes an abuser of women..if he does it once then he will do it again..You lost me with this episode

Get a Grip Here

The original author has a lot more in his writing of this chapter than this author can offer in her submissive view of this story. Go find and read the original author's story. I believe that this submissive did a very good job of presenting a submissive's view here.

I GIVE 5 STARS!!

This author has given a very good, no excellent, view of the story from a submissive view. It is well done and is very well praised for her work and interpretation of the story.

Keep up the excellent work!

Thanks for the comments!

Whilst I, like most humans, enjoy receiving compliments about my writing, I also appreciate the concerns voiced by the two commentors who raise the issue of Dominance v. abuse that, to me, is omni-present in BDSM relationships. As is pointed out by a commentor here, this story is told from the submissive's point of view and, therefore, the submissive cannot speak to any emotional, psychological or mental issues the Dominant faced in being refused by a submissive he thought he knew so well, and in being refused by being stonewalled with a secret he hadn't suspected existed before being refused. I don't excuse the Dominant -- and he didn't excuse himself, in fact -- but even Dominants are human beings and, as such, make mistakes (just like submissives).

Again, many thanks to all who not only read, but took the time to comment.

no

Beating. Beating on danger areas. Beating beyond the safeword. Specifically and initentionally throwing the safeword back in the slaves face.

How can not answering a question, even an important one, possibly be equal to endagering life and limb. It does not matter 'what was going on in the master's mind.' I matters WHAT HE DID.

Just no. And that she was willing to just excuse it away...no.

This is well written and abhorent to read.

I agree entirely with FA-JF

It very very clearly turned into abuse. He beat her in anger and disregarded the safe word.

It doesn’t matter that it’s a rewrite of a specific novel from a different POV, regardless of it being a story repeated what he did was still wrong. It’s ridiculous that she would just brush it off, how is she ever supposed to trust him enough to submit to him again?

I haven’t read the original story and I won’t bother wasting my time on it now, I shudder to think what pathetic excuses he comes up with for the way he’s treated her. FFS he’s supposed to be an experienced Dominant and yet we learn that not only does he in anger attempt to beat the truth out of the woman he claims to love, threatening her with a knife, disregard her safe word on top of all that he’s also sold women as sex slaves to other masters as though he actually owned them. For TPE to exist consent still has to be given by the sub otherwise the Dom is just an amoral criminal. There was no indication that these other subs were treated properly, like human beings.

He had a full on meltdown which if it hadn’t been violent would have been a childish temper tantrum.
