Perhaps too much.... complexity?? There is certainly a lot of new players introduced in this chapter.... Gillian involved with Andy? William at home now, but somehow relegated to a budding homosexual relationship with Dave? The entry into BDSM was interesting, but to me, was more of a developing foray into domination and control, vs the S&M aspect of the lifestyle. Is it just me, but I think this is quite a sad tale. Here you have a man who gets seriously injured at work, hospitalized. A wife, he has looked after and supported her entire life adult life. Now he's at his lowest and what does he get?
