tinfoilhat7 months agoIt's a sign of a good author when he draws you into the family he writes about. Making the reader experience the emotions is a great skill. The chapter ending with Miranda passed is a prime example of this.

Jvito11 months agoLove the chapter, nice to get to know the other posse members a little more. The ending about Miranda was awesome and heartbreaking at the same time, fantastic . My only wish was that you would have included another flashback into how Mike & Karen came to be before we get lost in the Alex & Alexa universe that is gearing up.
Waiting anxiously for the next installment! Keep up the great work.

52% of all countries don't have laws against incest. that's old data from a BBC news site.
among those countries, israel is one of them. the jewish god, the christian god of the old testament, has blessed marriages with cousins... i haven't really read the jewish bible. i don't know if old testament god blessed more marriages between close kin. 1st cousins, brother sister, mother son, father daughter... although that was maybe, common in nobility?
anyway, the christian bible version of the old testament god is sure to differ from the jewish god. lord knows how much re-writing konstantine and his christian priests did to make the christian bible palatable to the masses.
speaking of constantine, why did he support the christian religion? what political aspirations did he have, to do that? was he in trouble with the old roman religious orders?
two states in the US have no laws against incest; except they can't procreate. one state allow same sex marriage. son/father, brother/brother, mother/daughter, sister/sister, so long as procreation is done legally.
aside from france, spain, italy, and a bunch of other european countries don't have laws against incest.
hope that helps you with the religious and legalese.
also, it isn't enough to change the laws banning incest. how would you protect the children? what kind of laws will you put in place, in order to make incest more palatable?
